In 2019 we began a search for a brand new car that could be used not only as a daily runabout but also be converted to give easy wheelchair access for our daughter Bethany so we could easily get out and about as a family without having to physically lift Beth as well disassemble & assemble a wheelchair each and every time.
A Kia Soul turned out to be the perfect car and Freedom were the only ones who offered a conversion for that car, we chose the Family Member Design.
Craig was extremely helpful with regard to what our needs were and the solutions and options he offered were more than we could ask for. We also had an Occupational Therapist consult with us and they agreed that what Freedom were offering was perfect for our needs.
We are very happy with the result and it has given us so much more freedom (pardon the pun!). Craig even went and bought us a new car aerial out of his own pocket when the Trucking company misplaced it during transport. Beth has a great view out of the car now and gives other motorists a big smile while waiting at the lights.
Going out is no longer a chore but a pleasure and we have found we now go out a lot more than we ever did (when Covid restrictions allow!)
