My son Brock was born with a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy. Due to this disease he is unable to walk and uses a power wheelchair for his mobility.
For many years I made do lifting him in a unconverted van with manual ramps until he reached 30kg which made this physically impossible.
In 2020 after doing a lot of research and coming across Freedom Motors I finally had the opportunitnty to purchase a Kia Soul . Freedom Motors being one of the only companies that is able to modify this small little hatchback. It suits our needs perfectly its small so parking is never a worry especially at the Children's hospital Westmead, fuel efficient and most importantly is able to get Brock to his many appointments very comfortably !
Since picking up our new converted Kia Soul going out together is so enjoyable instead of being a tremendous uncomfortable task like it used to be.
All of our friends and family cannot believe my little Kia Soul is actually a wheelchair converted car ! The quality and finish is just like it came directly from the car manufacturer.
I am so thankful to Garry, Ephraim and all the staff who helped us along the way - the process which can seem daunting when you have no idea what to do or ask for was made so incredibly simple.
So thank you so so much Freedom Motors for giving us the freedom to get out and about and enjoy life again !
