My wife Margaret suffers from the neurological disease Multiple System Atrophy and resides in a nursing home where she is confined in her powered wheelchair during the day. For many months we have been restricted to the proximity of the nursing home and wanted so much to be free to take outings together. After much deliberation we decided that we needed a wheelchair modified vehicle and were very impressed by the video presentation of the Kia Carnival Freedom van on Freedom Motors’ website. We contacted Garry Dale at Freedom Motors and arranged for a new vehicle to be sourced and converted.
We took delivery last Friday and what a difference it has made to our life together already! Saturday morning we went out – together! – to the Botanic Gardens and enjoyed a ‘stroll’ and refreshments at the café. Sunday morning we were out again, this time to church – together! It is hard to express what a difference this Freedom vehicle has already made to our lives. Freedom Motors is a very appropriate name.
The vehicle itself looks immaculate, the quality of workmanship in the modifications is such that it could easily be taken as a stock standard vehicle. Our family, friends and neighbours are all very impressed by its quality and appearance. Well done, Freedom Motors!
