We had our Kia Grand Carnival converted in April 2011 and couldn’t be happier. After extensive research into the different conversion styles I knew this was the answer for us. To be honest I had decided we were going to have a Freedom conversion before I had finalised my choice of vehicle! Sandra was great, always happy to help and answer my ever growing list of questions, even taking time to show us some of the vehicles under construction in the workshop. I had discussions with other prominent conversion companies but found that Freedom offered the greatest choice in regards to the type of vehicle they could convert as well as what I considered to be the best quality conversion. It was actually during one of these discussions that another company told me that Freedom Motors are the only other people they would recommend – high praise indeed!
As Peter is in a large power wheelchair and we have a young family we opted for the passenger conversion with the Freedom dock and power ramp. Everything operates at the touch of a button resulting in quick, easy, stress free access allowing us to travel and function as a family once again. People always comment on how simple it is to operate and that the rear ramp is so much easier than side access – you don’t get parked in at the shopping centre.
I would not hesitate in recommending a Freedom conversion to anyone. The name says it all – FREEDOM!
