Dear Garry and team, It is now approaching 12 months since we purchased our Kia Grand Carnival vehicle and arranged for Freedom Motors to carry out our wheel-chair friendly conversion. As you will recall we opted for the ‘Passenger Design’ conversion to enable us to retain the option of carrying 4 passengers in addition to the driver. With this option, it is very convenient and a simple matter of raising the rear door and lowering the ramp, both of which I am able to do myself, whilst seated in my wheel-chair before entering the vehicle. We initially became aware of Freedom Motors conversions thru family friends, Larry, Lee-anne and Ryan Brewer, also from Perth, who had purchased a Grand Carnival and had a similar conversion carried out by Freedom. They were very satisfied with their conversion and at their recommendation, we undertook to explore the Kia/Freedom combination. To this end, we were extremely happy with the team at Joe Crusifio Motors in Perth, who provided us with details of other customers who had chosen different Kia vehicles and enabled us to inspect their conversions, before deciding to purchase a Grand Carnival and have the conversion carried out by Freedom Motors in Sydney. We did consider local conversion Companies here in Perth, but in our opinion the Freedom conversion product was superior in every way to what was otherwise available. The quality of the finished product is outstanding and it is impossible to determine that the conversion was not part of the original vehicle. From the time of our initial contact with you, Garry and the other members of the Freedom team, we were extremely impressed with the professional manner in which all our queries and questions were attended to and we were very confident of a satisfactory outcome in relation to the completion of our conversion. The only servicing we have had to have in relation to the conversion was for installation of the ‘docking system’ carried out by T & L Engineering here in Perth, after delivery of the vehicle and their service as representatives of Freedom has also been exemplary. It has become a fairly regular occurrence for complete strangers to approach us in public car-parks in particular, to observe the operation of both loading and unloading of my wheel-chair with me seated therein, and the compliments abound. It has been our pleasure to recommend Freedom to people considering such a purchase, and even some who have had conversions carried out by other Companies expressing regret that they did not also purchase a Freedom conversion. In conclusion, we would like to again thank all at Freedom Motors for the outstanding product and fabulous service we have experienced in our dealings with your Company. Should we have occasion to go down this path again, we would not hesitate to utilise the services of Freedom again.
