I have had my KIA Grand Carnival conversion for 6 months. It's fantastic! This journey started when I was searching the web and found "Freedom".Sandra drove the KIA to our home so I could see it for myself. We were impressed and that hasn't stopped. The service has been outstanding: both caring and very professional. I was diagnosed with MS five years ago and the disease has rogressed to the point when 3 years ago I could no longer walk more than a few metres and needed a manual wheelchair and attendant, as my left side is very weak and not responsive. I needed help wherever I went. Previous to MS, I loved being a helper to my elderly parents, worked and led a productive life as wife, mother of two and daughter to four parents. Life changed from doer and helper to needing help to shop, get to appointments and see friends and family. I could drive but not get far from the car without a lot of help that my husband and daughter who gladly helped when they were available. So life had enormous limitations! Now, I have a power chair (electric wheelchair) and the KIA conversion to self-drive. I am mobile! I can help both others and myself! This is so empowering to have this ability back and I am both grateful, firstly, to my husband for making it possible with some financial strain, as we had no financial help and to Freedom Motors for their wonderful conversion of the car. I wish others the joy of independence and FREEDOM!
