We purchased a new Kia Grand Carnival motor vehicle and had it converted by Freedom Motors. This is our second vehicle to have been converted by this highly professional company. Our first vehicle being a Chrysler Voyager (Converted in 2002). We use our vehicle to transport our son who has Muscular Dystrophy and is confined to an electric wheelchair. Both our conversions have been the ‘passenger’ type which has allowed plenty of room to accommodate our two other children as well. Throughout both conversions with Freedom Motors, we have dealt with Garry Dale who, surprisingly, remembered us 4yrs on when we approached him in regards to our 2nd conversion! Garry is very professional and knows his products. He is a warm man with great empathy and a strong understanding of the family needs when requiring special transport. For our 2nd conversion Garry suggested the new ‘docking station’ system which not only keeps the traveled safer but assists the carer and trust me, it makes a huge difference to a tired back! It comes at a cost but we are so pleased that we installed the new docking system. It’s worth every extra cent!! The quality of the conversion is top class and the after sales service superb. Freedom also assisted us in the sale of our Chrysler Voyager which made it a smooth changeover for us and kept our son ‘on the road’ right up until the new conversion was ready. We strongly recommend converting your vehicle with Freedom Motors. They have certainly earned their good reputation through 2 conversions with us ….
