This model is the most popular model wheelchair accessible vehicle in our range at the moment and is now available to order. The vehicle and modification are reasonably priced, and you will not find a better-quality built modification anywhere else. Now over 400 modified!
This Kia Carnival YP wheelchair accessible vehicle conversion has had a huge change from the previous model. Available as a Family, Passenger and 2 Wheelchair Conversion, there is lots of room. They all have a complete flat floor because of Freedom Motors unique rear suspension system making it even easier to get in and out of the vehicle and will suite the medium to taller wheelchair occupants with the minimum restrictions. The styling is cutting edge and compliments the original vehicle. There is no restricted vision through the rear window. The family modification has the middle row seats modified, but the original functions of the seats have been maintained so they can easy be pushed out of the way when needed. The rear of the vehicle has been modified so it is hardly noticeable that it has wheelchair access. Even the original rear sensor work.
Many options are available for this wheelchair vehicle conversion. Side steps, rear fold-down double seat, electric wheelchair restraints, electric opening and closing ramp, and off course our very popular Wheelchair Docking System designed by Freedom Motors, eliminating any use of wheelchair tie-down straps resulting in locking and releasing the wheelchair in only seconds with no bending instead of minutes with lots of kneeling and bending.

FREEDOM has modified over 450 Kia Carnival YP's since this model came out in 2015. Our quality and safety are backed up by a 7 year, 200kms warranty (conditions apply) on new vehicles modified. Nobody else offers this warranty. We only use the best materials and don't cut any corners. Our tires don’t have to be replaced every 10,000kms because of bad rear suspension designs out there and the new fuel tank is bigger than the original. Just be very careful who you trust, there are some dodgy operators out there! If you want rattling, fumes inside the cabin, cheap materialsused in the construction, unsafe wheelchair restraint positioning, gadgets that break down all the time, wheelchair occupants head against the ceiling, uncomfortable middle row seats against the door where the airbag deploys, fast wearing tires etc. etc. don't come to Freedom.
